The Institute has also got departments in the above two Non-Engg. trades to look after the interest of primarily women folk of the neighboring areas as well as of the whole state of Haryana.Earlier these two course used to be for two years duration & the examination was on annual pattern but since 1999, both th above courses have been updated & now these comprise of six semesters (three years durations) with the knowledge of Computers at every level.

The large number of typing machines & sufficient number of Library Information services. Text books like classification , cataloguing etc. along with Britannica in 32 volumes is available in the Institute for reference to all types of routine work as per the curricula of the two departments.
